These (the Bereans) were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so. Therefore many of them believed, and also not a few of the Greeks, prominent women as well as men.
Notice the Bereans believed (in the gospel) not just because they heard the preaching of Paul but because the Scriptures affirm what he preached. When it comes to matters pertaining to the Christian faith, the Bible our sole and final authority.
Does not matter if a ministry has garnered tonnes of testimonies or performed spectacular miracles, if it’s teachings are not in accordance to God’s word, all those things are empty and futile.
