Let’s take break from the heavy theological stuff for a while…
My soul clings to the dust;
Revive me according to Your word.
My soul melts from heaviness;
Strengthen me according to Your word.
In case you have not realized it, I have a high opinion of the written Word of God. I believe the Bible is inerrant, infallible and invincible.
Apostle Paul wrote, “all Scripture is God-breathed” (2 Timothy 3:16). The writer of Hebrews informed us, “the word of God is alive and active” (Hebrews 4:12). Jesus taught us, “Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4).
Just as the psalmist had written, His word will revive us when we feel we are dying on the inside and strengthen us when we feel we are running on empty.
So regardless of what kind problems you are facing today, go read the Bible and let His word rejuvenate your soul…
It is written, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”
(2 Corinthians 12:9)
