Joel Osteen, in his new book Break Out, told us to frequently remind God of His promises to us and I agree with him. After all, Paul wrote that “it is impossible for God to lie (Heb 6:17)”, and God Himself told us that His words “shall not return to Him void (Isa 55:11)”. Thus if we say we believe in Him, we should take Him at His words.
So keep calm, lessen your worries and give a reminder to Daddy God…
Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies,
Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
With long life I will satisfy him,
And show him My salvation.
When you lie down, you will not be afraid;
Yes, you will lie down and your sleep will be sweet.
