The Lord is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life;
Of whom shall I be afraid?
When the wicked came against me
To eat up my flesh,
My enemies and foes,
They stumbled and fell.
Though an army may encamp against me,
My heart shall not fear;
Though war may rise against me,
In this I will be confident.
Only God knows (literally) how those verses had comforted me during some of the toughest time in my life and perhaps, for some divine reason, I was prompted by the Holy Spirit to look it up last night.
Again, I found myself thanking the Lord for watching over me all these years, even when I have not exactly been a glorious testimony… but God has never stop loving me in His grace, protecting, shielding me and carrying me…
I am not able to do something for Him if not for the grace that He has first given me…
