True Friends

As Confucius said: ” 忠言逆耳 “… well-meaning advice is often unpleasant to the ears.

But the truth is, we should be thankful for friends who actually care enough to point out our mistakes to us. After all, praises and nice words may stroke our egos, but it is the brutal and honest feedback that will make us improve.

It will be truly be a sad day if we can no longer find anybody willing to tell us the truth. That just mean they have stopped caring…

Open rebuke is better
Than love carefully concealed.

Faithful are the wounds of a friend,
But the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.
(Proverbs 27:5-6)

“C’mon…!!! “

A true friend is one who will keep pushing you towards our goals… even if we may not always like it.
