God’s NEVER AGAIN

In my last entry, I wrote about the signs of the end-times and the infamous 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse. Now let’s look at the bright side of things…

The first piece of good news is: God IS NOT behind the troubles of the world!!

Yes, you have read it correctly. Contrary to what many self-righteous theologians or ignorant Hollywood loudmouths would have you believed, the quake-tsunami-nuclear meltdown in Japan is NOT God’s doing. Do not believe, for a moment, all those nonsense about God judging Japan’s sins. Not because it does not sound nice, but simply it is NOT biblical.

Do not take my word for it. Let’s read it from the Bible:

(straight after The Noah’s Flood) The LORD smelled the pleasing aroma and said in His heart: “Never again will I curse the ground because of humans, even though every inclination of the human heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done.” (Gen 8:21)

Then He continued in another verse:

Then God said to Noah and to his sons with him: “I now establish my covenant with you and with your descendants after you and with every living creature that was with you….every living creature on earth. I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be destroyed by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.” (Gen 9:8-11)

Notice how many times He repeated the phrase, “Never again”? I mean, if God Himself says never again then surely, it means NEVER AGAIN!! So how could the tsunami be from Him?? Not that He can not, but He WOULD NOT!! My God is a God of His words and His words endured forever.

What about judgments against sins?

Good question, but read this:

…that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. (2 Cor 5:19)

So has God gone soft on sins then? Has God ceased to be God of justice?

God made Him (Jesus) who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. (2 Cor 5:21)

No!! God did not condone our sins at all!! In fact, they WERE judged, but not on us but on Jesus, who “became sin for us”!! For those who believed and accepted Jesus as saviour is made righteous by the cross. Judgments NO LONGER applies!!

For those people who even have the cheek to suggest that Japan are judged for their sins should take a good look at their Bible. If God, in the Old Testament times, are prepared to spare Sodom and Gommorah for the sale just 10 righteous men (Gen 18), then how could He be the one behind Japan’s triple disasters?

It does not take a Nobel Prize winner to figure that the whole of Japan will have more than 10 persons who are made righteous by Jesus’ blood.

To be continued… (finding out the culprit)

One thought on “God’s NEVER AGAIN

  1. Never again will all life be destroyed by the waters of a flood;

It’s all life, not some life. this refers to only a single event, noah’s flood.

never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.” (Gen 9:8-11)

the earth in the sense of all earth not just a pact of land.

this made clearer by His previous statement:

And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done.

all living creatures, that happened in the past (have done).

but i couldn’t be more than agree with this:

God made Him (Jesus) who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. (2 Cor 5:21)

    you’re right.

God’s presence saved (atoned) noah with the ark.
His presence saved Israelites with the ark of covenant.
and Jesus is the perfect ark, that all who call out to Him shall be saved.

about the tsunami, nothing goes out without His consent, right? even when the devil wants to harm Job he had to ask for His permission. it’s just, Job was protected by the Lord, but who protect these poor people? whom they’ll call out to?
